Com vas conèixer la Intermón TRAILWALKER?
La primera
notícia de la IOTW
la vaig tenir l’any passat. De fet ja vam estar valorant participar però la
veritat és que quan ens vam assabentar de la iniciativa ja quedava molt poc temps
i vam decidir ajornar-ho per l’any següent.
Consideres la
prova com un repte solidari o com un repte esportiu?
Penso que es
tracta d’un gran repte a nivell personal que requereix un esforç important tant
físic com mental, i això només es pot fer quan estàs plenament convençut de que
ho fas per un GRAN objectiu com és el de posar un petit gra de sorra per
millorar les condicions de milers de persones que no són tan afortunades com
nosaltres.
Com afrontes la
preparació per una prova tant exigent?
Ja estic bastant acostumat
a sortir a córrer diversos cops a la setmana, per preparar aquesta prova cal
anar incrementant les distàncies i sobre tot sortir junts per acostumar-nos a
tenir un mateix ritme. Com a sobre acabo d’estrenar unes sabatilles els peus m’estan
matant però és qüestió d’insistir :-) A més m'acabo d'apuntar a la Marató de
Barcelona, la meva setena, crec que serà una bona manera d'agafar fons.
Creus que serà
senzill aconseguir les donacions necessàries?
Crec que no serà
senzill perquè vivim en una societat en la que hi ha un excés d’informació i
les noticies que són portada als 10 minuts deixen de ser-ho. Som optimistes
respecte al fet de que per sort pertanyem a una gran comunitat com és la de la UOC que ens ajudarà a assolir
aquest repte.
Has fet mai una
competició d’aquesta duresa?
He fet la cursa
de Cavalls del Vent dos cops, una d’elles juntament amb en Pau, que és un altre
membre de l’equip. Córrer de nit per les muntanyes del Cadí-Moixeró és una
experiència que no oblidaré mai.
Què t’ha fet
decantar per la Intermón Trailwalker
en comptes d’altres competicions?
El seu esperit
solidari. A mida que passen els anys de la vida d’una persona te n'adones que
pot ser no has dedicat el teu temps a coses que valguessin realment la pena.
Aquesta realment ho val i abocaré els meus esforços per aconseguir-ho.
Què esperes de
l’equip de suport?
L’equip de suport
és bàsic per afrontar amb èxit la prova. No podré agrair mai tot el que fan (i
el que faran) Anna i Marc.
Quin paper creus
que tindran les xarxes socials en aquest projecte?
Estem fent
esforços per explicar el que fem a les xarxes socials, amb el bloc, el perfil
del Facebook i les noticies al Campus. Ens agradaria que aquesta experiència
tingués repercussió a la xarxa i es convertís en un fenomen viral que
garantiria el seu èxit.
